What: Wall Ball
When: Sundays, February 5 & 12th from 4:15-5:15 and Feb. 22 from 7-8 pm
Where: Fieldhouse in Elk River High School (near the Weight Room) 2/22 will be in North Gym at High School
Why: Wall ball will make you a better lacrosse player and IT'S FREE. The ERZ Booster Club has covered the cost of the fieldhouse.
Who: Any 7th-12th girls who plays or is thinking about playing lacrosse!
What should a player bring: Tennis shoes, goggles and mouth guards highly recommended, lacrosse sticks if you have them!
We will provide balls and will have a couple of extra sticks for girls who haven't played before! Bring your friends!
What: Captains Practice
When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 starting 2/27 and ending 3/29.
Where: Furniture & Things Turf Fieldhouse
Who: Any girls from Zimmerman or Elk River school districts from 7th-12th grade who are interested in playing lacrosse!
What to bring: lacrosse goggles and mouth guards are required; lacrosse sticks and either turf shoes or cleats (tennis shoes are ok). Waivers are needed and will be emailed soon.
Captains Practice is highly recommended in order to get ready for tryouts and the 2023 season! It is run by our captains which include seniors: Adria K. and Bella D. and juniors: Katelyn W. & Ella O.! These players have hundreds of hours of playing and coaching lacrosse under their belts!
We also will have conditioning for players conducted by Asst. Basketball Coach and ERHS teacher, Wendy Hidde!

Elk River Girls High School Lacrosse consists of athletes from Elk River and Zimmerman High Schools (ERZ). Elk River Girls Lacrosse competes at the Varsity & Junior Varsity Levels as members of The Northwest Suburban Conference and The Minnesota State High School League. We seek to provide a Community Based, Volunteer-Driven program that promotes the growth and development of our Athletes. We provide a fun, fair, and safe environment that maximizes participation and improves players' skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork and self-confidence.
