True Lacrosse MN

ABOUT TRUE'S MISSION

We are a 2-in-1 program for lacrosse athletes - TRAINING and TRAVEL in one. We don't charge extra for practice, and we don't charge extra for fall/winter. This is not about highlighting only the best players - this is about bringing up the level of each girl. Seeing them be successful in their school teams and their lives is what drives us, not just college recruitment. Our approach is that by pushing each other to become better each day, every athlete will reach their "true" potential.

ON COLLEGE RECRUITMENT
The best part about being a True athlete and looking for college recruitment is the network we have across the United States. Join our 'True Recruits' program - we have people advocating for kids across the country. We will help you get to where you belong, be it DI, DII, DIII, or NAIA. We're all about finding the right fit - ACADEMICS FIRST - in a place you love and are excited to call home for at least a few years.

ON PRACTICE
When you make a commitment to your True team, we expect to see you at practice. HOWEVER, we understand that girls play other sports, in fact, we love multi-sport athletes. IF getting to practice ever becomes an issue for you, please let us know, as we will do whatever we can to make it work. We pride ourselves on being family-friendly, and have often added skills sessions or clinics at the request of girls. Our athletes are the most important piece to us - we want to make sure your True experience is the best it can be.

2024-2032 GRAD YEARS

Tryouts are taking place on July 27th, July 28th, and August 1st. All sessions will be run by NCAA coaches and the Minnesota Loons coaching staff. Our focus is to provide a competitive environment that will also serve as an opportunity to learn from different coaches and coaching styles. College coaches will lead players through drills while the Minnesota Loons staff will help support and evaluate players. These tryouts are open to all student-athletes who are looking to have supportive and knowledgeable coaches, unique opportunities to learn and bring their game to the next level, and the best, most enjoyable, and most memorable club lacrosse experience.

Players are chosen to participate in fall, winter, and summer events. Selected student-athletes will be offered a position for the 2023-2024 year (fall '23, winter '24, summer '24); Teams range from elite-level recruitment to regional/development teams. Student-athletes with 2024 graduation years are only eligible to participate in fall and winter events - due to their age they are ineligible for summer 2024 events.

The events we chose to participate in are chosen with a purpose. All events have the full spectrum of recruitment, competition, value, family experience, and fun!

This year we celebrate 20 years as a club lacrosse program, the longest-running club in the state of Minnesota! We have had student-athletes from our program go on to play after high school at 130+ different institutions.
